We understand that visual representations can be valuable in understanding the quality of our services. We have discontinued sharing transformation photos of our cosmetic injectable treatments on our social media platforms to comply with TGA and AHPRA regulations.

No. As a doctor-led clinic, all Schedule S4 medications are prescribed by our local Medical Director, Dr Richard Hogben. This added benefit means there are no additional scripting charges for your treatment.

Because we have a local doctor in the clinic, our Medical Director, Dr Richard Hogben holds prescribing authority and exercises exclusive custody and control of all S4 medications at Allure, allowing us to stock S4 medications in our practice and giving our clients an opportunity for same day treatments if deemed clinically appropriate.
The only separate appointment you may require is a follow-up review, if needed.

Our whole philosophy is “fresher natural look”. We’re conservative on purpose. The aim is that people notice you look well rested, not that you’ve had something done. We’ll talk through realistic, natural-looking outcomes at your consultation, never push you toward more than you came in for.

Every consultation is free, and you’ll leave with a clear written quote for whatever’s recommended. Costs depend entirely on your skin and what’s right for you, so we don’t believe in one-size-fits-all price lists. For prescription-related options, pricing and details are only ever discussed privately in clinic, in line with TGA advertising rules.

It depends on the service. Some skin and laser options have little to no downtime, others (like deeper laser resurfacing) need several days of recovery. Your clinician will walk you through exactly what to expect for your specific plan, so you can book around work, school holidays or that trip to the Whitsundays.

Most services are described as mild discomfort rather than pain. We use topical numbing for anything that involves needling or stronger lasers. Most clients tell us afterwards it was nowhere near as bad as they’d built it up to be in their head.

Cosmetic consultations and services at Allure are for clients aged 18 and over. We see clients from their twenties right through to their seventies and beyond, and different ages call for different approaches. The free consultation is where we work out what genuinely suits you.

You don’t have to decide anything before you come in, that’s our job to help with. Your consultation includes a proper skin assessment and an honest conversation about your options, the realistic outcomes, and anything we’d recommend against. You leave with a plan and a quote, then take all the time you need to think it over.

Allure is led by Dr Richard Hogben (MBBS, FRACGP, AHPRA reg. MED0001406890), who oversees the clinic and is on-site most days. Our nurses and therapists are individually registered and trained in their areas, and we use only TGA-approved products and devices. Doctor-led oversight on every service isn’t the norm at every clinic, it’s been our standard since 2008.
