The Inlift™ fractional laser as a non-invasive option that may assist in the management of snoring exclusively offered by Dr Richard.
The Inlift™ fractional laser targets the root cause of snoring by tightening and strengthening the soft palate and surrounding tissue that would otherwise relax and obstruct the air passage. It delivers controlled light energy at the 2940nm bandwidth to the soft palate at the back of the mouth and throat. This process gently heats the tissue, which may stimulate collagen and support tightening of the area. The goal is to improve tissue tone in the upper airway, which may help reduce the likelihood of vibration during sleep.

The treatment may be suitable for adults experiencing snoring however it is important to note that outcomes vary between individuals. Not everyone will experience the same degree of improvement, and results may depend on a range of factors including anatomy and lifestyle. A complimentary consultation is required to assess your medical history, sleep patterns, and throat anatomy to determine if this treatment is appropriate.

The InLift™ laser procedure is generally very comfortable, and most clients experience no downtime. You can eat, drink, and speak normally immediately after the treatment. However, as with any medical procedure, there are potential side effects, which are usually mild and temporary. These may include throat irritation, mild swelling or discomfort and temporary hoarseness. Dr Richard will discuss these potential effects with you prior to treatment and provide guidance on what to expect during recovery.
To determine whether the Inlift™ fractional laser may be a helpful option for managing your snoring, we recommend arranging a complimentary consultation with Dr Richard.
Your consultation will involve a thorough medical and sleep history, as well as an examination of the upper throat (soft palate, uvula, tonsils, and surrounding areas). Dr Richard will also discuss the potential risks and side effects and provide guidance on what to expect during recovery. This ensures you have all the information needed to make a safe and informed decision about your treatment.
